Salut Laurent.  I like the clouds reaching down to the land and the splash of sun on the snow.  Pretty, but chilly scene!  Gillie

I love that little strip of blue at the horizon that divides the land and sea from the vast expanse of sky. I think the way you have divided the space here contributes a lot to the success of the picture. Of course the richness of color is superb, as well as the striking variety of tones, but that's almost to be expected with your work.

Thank you kindly. What you see here will (soon I hope) become a nice sandy beach once it gets warm enough to melt that snow and those ice cobbles.

Good to hear from you. That line of low clouds you see in the distance is along the coast of the Gaspé peninsula. The thin white line is what is left of the broken up ice cap that keeps shifting from that coast some 30 km away back to this side depending on the tides and winds;the blue or dark line you refer to  turns out to be the Gaspé coastline.Thank you for looking in and for the kind appreciation.

Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent
