  1. That's a shame. I guess it opens work to more free lance writers.

  3. Actually, he looks hungry more than in love. 😉 Nice shot.
  4. DPR was mainly about gear too. So it's a good match for what they do.
  5. I identify. I made a Blurb photo book of my grandson's first birthday party. It came out too dark and I had to re-print it. Fortunately, we didn't have to re-do the party like Scorsese. But maybe I;m not anal like him. 🙂
  6. Neither. It's the court clarifying certain copyright law protection.
  7. +1 I found the same problem with too dark pictures happens when using Blurb to make a photo book. Fortunately, they allowed me to redo it at no additional charge.

  9. It is a nice shot. where did you shoot it? I think the issue is that the brightness between the foreground and the background and sky seems off. The background is in shade or you used a graduated ND filter. But the sky also seems like it should be brighter to match the brighter foreground. You took it very early in the morning or late afternoon. So it could just be that the upper is just more shaded. Compositionally, I think it would have been more exciting if you stood in the middle of the road. It seems safe enough.
  10. Adjust the CD brightness to be brighter. Mine is at 140 cd/m2. I think my color is on Native for the monitor and/or sRGB.
  11. You may need an internal ND or external if you're shooting video. The best setting for video is twice the frames per second. So if you're shooting at let's say 30fps, you want to set the shutter at 1/60th which may be too slow for a bright scene and require a ND filter.
  12. Can the photographer now demand payments for secondary sales of these Warhols works or is only the Warhol foundation liable for the original infringement value?
  13. It's really very easy. If you don't want to be sued, don't use someone else's work to create your own work especially if your intend to sell your work. Start fresh or pay them first for the right to use their work.
