  1. Hi Alf, what a wonderful Stag series - hope you send them to Countryfile some day. You have captured a perfect moment here, with all the destruction going on in the world - it's wonderful to see captures like these to remind us that there is a balance and a hope for the future. Wishing you and your loved ones a very Happy Christmas & New Year. Looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful work!! Best wishes. Sarah.
  2. Hi Jack, have been looking around to find something Christmassy from you but think this is the closest I'll get!! As usual a very well composed image - all the parts work in harmony and I really like the colour of the chair against the blue crate. Wishing you a very Happy Christmas & New Year. Best wishes. Sarah.

    Nowhere to Hide

Hi Jack, this capture is special in a sad way, it's very poignant and has a blunt reality of a once majestic animal caged and within a environment which goes against it nature. It also has a meaning for humans too as there are many kinds of cages (metaphorically speaking). All the best. Sarah.
  7. Hi Jack, I also thought that you had ventured into the field of pastoral but what was I thinking!!When you view this large it definitely takes you into the non pastoral. You can't help but wonder what the guy's story with the bike is about, very well captured, composed and thought provoking! All the best. Sarah
  8. Hi Jack, thanks for stopping by and pleased you liked this scene. Landscapes are the hardest for me to work with because there is a much larger area to get right. I had a look at this on my phone and I can now see that there is a slight halo at the top of the hills and I'll see if I can improve that a bit - if anyone has ideas on how to do that then that would be great. All the best. Sarah.

Hi Maurizio, a very dynamic and strong image, really like your B/W treatment! Best wishes. Sarah.
  14. Hi Alf, a flawless Autumn scene, the waterfall makes for a wonderful composition and I love the sense of peace that I get from this image - It doesn't matter if Autumn is a popular subject - everyone has there own interpretation and this is just so beautifully well done!! All the best. Sarah.
  15. Hi Alf, I like the artistic licence they you have used with the mist, it adds a whole different element to this image and creates a feeling of mystery and atmosphere surrounding the walkers - if this was in portrait it could be on a book cover! Great work. All the best. Sarah.

  25. Hi Maurizio, a really bold and impressive capture. I really like the angle of the building and the graduating shadows in the window arches. The bold B/W processing works really well to give a dramatic effect. Great work! Best wishes. Sarah.
