I was waiting for one. Well done!

Besides the subject, the processing and colors does give it a nice vintage photograph quality. The concept and your photographs does the subject justice. Taken as a whole they are very nice and likable photos from my perspective. Nice work.

Framing makes this scene work well.

It's not possible to critique such an artistic presentation. It's now a matter of taste.

It's nice for sure. Background may be a bit distant from the wide angle lens that working your location can correct to achieve the best perspective. A little tweaking of saturation and contrast viewing on my computer monitor is all it needs. All in all I like it.

Yes, that's a hard call to make to keep both. I only have elementary editing software myself so I'm no help in keeping fog and raising the dynamic range to include pure whites to blackest of blacks. I just keep working multiple versions and choose the best one. This is a little better from a quick reworking of your print that I came up with. You'd have more control from the original file, and you may still not like this version.

Old, curled black and white prints

m._hilo, Go information. I've rewetted prints before with success, but not very old prints. -
