1.
David, I don't care if you're a wide-open-aholic or that you post images with the same camera and lens combo, keep 'em coming!

Louis, terrific images too! When I was looking to upgrade from the E-M5 I did really consider getting the A7 but the price tag was just a bit too much sadly.

My images this week are from our fish pond. The water weed starting producing flowers so I tried to capture these tiny beauties best I could.

 2.
Interesting, Hosteen, thanks. Why I asked is because I had my EM5 set on IS1, and I can't remember if I set the IS on the E-M1 or not - all I know is that after I did a firmware upgrade recently (a consequence of which is the camera goes back to its' factory settings) and now the IS is on Auto. I can't say I've noticed any difference, but I can't remember what I had it set on before, so I might put it onto IS1 and see what happens.

 3.
Lol Sanford - perhaps you're right! But remember that 'perfect' is in the eye of the beholder :) On a related note, I have been trying to photograph a waterfall for ages, but there always seem to be some major hindrance. The first time was a few years ago. After doing all my research, and driving for about an hour, we arrived to find that because some months ago someone had hurt themselves while trekking to the waterfall, the 'easy' route was closed. Because it skirted along the edge of a private property, they had to been able to successfully sue the owners! Long story short, they closed it. The alternate route was along the side of the creek itself, so off we set, carrying tripod and camera bags only to find huge boulders taller then me in the way. A younger person with good knees could scramble up and down them but not this little old black duck with bad knees. So we gave up and I took out my macro lens and got some nice close up shots instead.

Second attempt was earlier this year, there is a well known waterfall called the JC Slaughter Falls not too far from home, so off we went again. We trekked for about an hour (following the signs to the Falls) and couldn't find it! The signs just stopped appearing. We asked everyone we saw if they knew where the Falls were, and no-one else knew, and hadn't seen them either. I decided that waterfalls don't actually exist any more either, as I haven't seen on since my youth. Ah well, maybe one day :)

 6.
Hosteen, yes! I found the same thing, the difference between the E-M5 and the E-M5 in image stabilization took me by suprise. Just curious, which setting do you have it on?
My images this week are taken from around my back yard. The first one is of a grape vine growing wild along our back fence. It has just started to grow again this year, and even though it seems to take some time, I can see some bunches of grapes beginning as well.

 7.
I saw this little guy perched on a Cosmos petal and grabbed some shots before he scuttled away.

 8.
David, love shots 1 & 2; Adrian nice capture of window reflections! Like David, I have also been shooting quite a lot. Our yard is delightfully overgrown so I'm making the most of the endless variety of Dandelions in various stages before they get mowed away.

 12.
Thanks David! I love your shots of the beautiful Chloe - quite inspiring. I will be doing another portrait shoot soon.

 13.
Wow! Terrific images this week everyone! Mine this week are from a small patch of grass in my yard. The first one is of a spider web that I saw as I was focusing in so I grabbed a shot and then it literally disappeared! What I mean is that I took a shot then decided to alter the aperture for more dof and I couldn't find it again. Seriously. Glad I got at least one shot though :)

 14.
Nice shots Hosteen and Greg! This week, a couple of shots of the Lomandra flowers that are prolific in our area - so much so that one of the main roads nearby is called Lomandra Drive.

 15.
I agree it is annoying to try and go to a posted link and discover you need an account - used to happen to me all the time with Flickr and Facebook too.

I only joined Facebook so I could chat to my kids and keep track of family doings. I resisted as long as I could, did the minimalist thing until people I knew years ago at school contacted me, and the rest, as they say, is history. I don't belong to that particular Oly group that Gerry linked to, but to another called the Olympus OMD E-M5 User Group. It was set up before the E-M1 came along, but you can post images from that camera too if you want - it should be called the OMD User Group because no one actually cares about which model you shoot with.I too, am inspired by some of the images I see, and also have some good discussions about lenses or models from newbies to Oly.

Anyway, I don't get bombarded with emails, I have made my account for 'friend's view' only etc., and I spend equal amounts of time on PN and FB in the morning over coffee. Each to his or her own, you can hide posts, block posts from certain sites, and generally have a good level of control over what you see and share.

 16.
An interesting, varied thread this week. Since I'm not at all knowledgeable about nature, but I love photographing it and trying to learn more, it is easy for me to come across the unknown :) This week when I was scanning the garden I saw a small green insect resting on the edge of a Cosmos flower.
