Very nice shot. Goes well with the square format and I like the soft light and muted tones. A real sense of stillness.
-
I like the composition, the blur, everything.
-
Nice alternative view of an oft-photographed location. I think the exposure is about right.
-
Nicely composed. The colors, the light, the fog-- all are just about perfect.
-
One of the better Bryce Canyon photos I've seen. I like the way you've included the various striations, including the trees, but didn't feel compelled to include the sky.
-
I like the lighting and muted colors. The blur is used to good effect. Well-done!
-
I like the receding line of the trees and the soft colors. Well-seen. And not over-polarized.

Just enough time to say "gorgeous"!

I agree, great shot! I'm impressed by the performance of the D70 and VR lens combination.
-
Excellent colors and composition. I feel like I would like to see it from a higher vantage point to see more of the path as it rounds the corner (like with a tall tripod and short ladder-- too bad you didn't have those things strapped to your back;-)). Still, a very nice shot.

The contrast looks a little flat. I adjusted levels and it looked much better but the upper sky was completely blown out and couldn't be burned in. I would try it with levels adjustment and crop out the upper sky. This would also take care of the static middle-frame horizon. That all having been said, I like the mood and composition.

You should check out the work of Burton Pritzker in the Oct-Nov 2002 LensWork magazine. Here is a link to the work:

I like this a lot, although I'd consider cropping out the top 25%. Otherwise, nice composition.
-
Nice work! New perspective on Old Glory.
-
By the way, is this Big Ben?

Excellent composition and great tonal qualities. I enjoyed the article, as well. Good work!

Well-done! The sky clearly upstages a landscape that is beautiful in it own right. I know you composite some skies but this doesn't look like one. Continued excellent work.

Great job echoing her wind-blown hair in the trees and clouds. Her face appears a little blown out on my monitor. Could you lower contrast a little and see how it looks? Nice pose and composition.

I love the way the streetlight suggests dusk, the shoppers and pedestrians hurrying home. The bare trees suggest early spring or late fall (I would expect heavier clothes for winter in Boston). Excellent shot!

Again, great shot but just a little dark. One more levels adjustment. Promise, I won't do anymore. Just the last thing this needed to be an excellent shot.
