Scary. Really scary.

Great, politically charged shot. The poster and the sentiment it proclaims juxtaposed with the flags is just about perfect composition. Should be put in a time capsule.

Well-composed travel shot.

Excellent shot. Nice light, good composition and use of compressed perspective.

Very nice. Wonderful lighting and I like her expression. I'm not sure what to do about the reflection of the photographer and tripod in her eyes, or even whether most people will notice them.

Reminds me of winter dusk, walking home from basketball practice, the promise of warmth of the cars passing by, contrasted with the chill, descending night. Nice job.

Nice shot. So, where is Everest, to the left?

Well done! It would have been nice to have the peak in the frame but this still works. What is the mountain?
-
Very nice. Looks pointillistic. Well-composed.

Beautiful composition and tonal scale. You've managed to maintain detail in the cliffs and the water. Well done!

Nice shot with excellent composition. Some of the comments suggest that the sky was converted to B&W or that this is a montage. I don't get that sense from your exposure details. Not that it matters, excellently done either way.

You're right, it has been done a million times before. And I still like this one. Good job! Colors and composition are well done.

I agree, take a little off of the top. Otherwise, excellent concert shot. Might tone down the reflection on his forehead a little.

I think the lighting and exposure are fine. So is the composition, except for the microphone. It just doesn't work for me with that much face blocked.
-
Better, but it still kind of draws my eye. The shot changes if I cover that spot with a finger. I'm at a loss of how to fix it, though.

The sky is great. The composition still looks a little empty to me. Maybe if the tree were a little more toward the center (rule of thirds), it might help. Still a nice shot, though.

I don't know if the low ratings simply reflect anti-American sentiment or what (which I can understand), but this is a good, graphic shot. I think a little closer crop at the top might be more effective-- a tighter crop, sacrificing the inclusion of the whole cloud but focusing the composition more on the flags.

I like this. From the square format, to the prominent grain, to the shallow DOF, an effective shot.
-
I agree, good use of the wide-angle. However, the hot spot on the rocks in the upper right is a little distracting. Might benefit from burning-in. Otherwise, nice shot!

Another well-composed, beautiful shot. Where, by the way, is CR?
