Hey, Carl. Nice shot, reminds me of some of the stuff we used to do in the Atget Circle. I was scrolling through some of my old posts and it brought the circle to mind. I would consider cropping this inside the line on the right and bottom. Tends to distract from the abstract nature of the shot, serving as a frame of reference. Anyway, best wishes!

Nicely done. Has a bit of an HDR look. Was this HDR technique? Regardless, nice shot.

While initially eye-catching, I'm afraid the shot doesn't hold up to a closer look. The lighting looks unnatural and the boys look pasted into the shot. I suspect you put a lot of work into it but I have to wonder why...

My only complaint is that the reflection is brighter, near the shore, than the original scene. I don't think there are any situations where you actually see this in the real world. I think that is what bothers some people about this(these) otherwise excellent shot(s).

Nicely done! I agree with the above comment about the building in the right lower corner but cropping it out would lose a lot of the two-tone mountains in the distance. Overall, excellent shot.

I agree that the lighting on the volcano is not consistent with the scene. Just doesn't quite work. Without the volcano, would probably have needed a longer lens with a tighter composition.

Nice travel shot. Well-composed with the line of structures leading off into the distance. I wonder how deep the drop-off is and, hence, wonder if a wider lens, shot in vertical format, would have been able to capture more of the drop-off. Still, excellent as is, and it could be that there wasn't much more to the drop-off than this. Great colors and detail from the 6x4.5 Velvia negative.

Definite Blade Runner look. Works with the exclusion of the horizon, composition is excellent. I like the subtle colors evident in the lower right corner.

I agree, I'd like to see it with deeper DOF to compare, but I like this version a lot.

Nicely done. I like how you've positioned the raindrops on the windshield over the sky.

Well, good job. When were you up here in the US?

Nice shot, Peter. What's with the light fall-off at the edges? Not a complaint-- I like it.

Nice shot, Steve. Is the morning sun just catching the subjects with the ground largely in shadow? That's how it looks. Compositionally, I kind of wish you'd taken one or two step to the left, creating more of a diagonal from the chair to the trailer. But I don't know what is out of frame to the right... Great light, though.

I agree, the blown highlights in the clouds are the only drawback in an otherwise outstanding shot. Nice use of the fisheye.

Nice shot. That's quite a load. The central composition is not the most flattering. Perhaps moving a little to the left, to get the road ahead as a diagonal and reveal the little girl more. Still, nicely done.

I'd recognize the Chisos Mountains anywhere. Nice exposure under difficult lighting conditions.
