C'mon people, I wanna learn something here. Nice snapshot but I am looking for good pictures. The art I mean
-- Daniel Urban.
Why can't a snapshot be a good picture? Why does it have to be art? And what is art, anyway? Is art parking your camera on a tripod, loading pro grade slide film, bracket 9 stops and select the best looking landscape image? Or the most professionally lit portrait?
I think it is far more important that people make images like this one. A landscape image is great, of course, but if we forget to have fun and make something different once in a while, I fear photography is going to be very boring ideed.
This is going to be a fun POW-week :-)

Oh boy, a cool idea, an original image, though perhaps not that well executed (technically and compositionally) and it becomes POW. Haluk, brace for impact, run for cover!
On a more serious note: I really like the idea of the image. It may be nice to try the same type of shot in low light with the car's headlights switched on to give it a more aggressive look. Alternatively, since staged anyway, a surprise passer-by might help, or someone coming to the rescue. Or hide most of the car in bushes and have only it's "mouth" with its catch protrude. Shot like this, it's a bit bland.

I too love the colours, but do not like the dark strip at the top of the image so much. Perhaps a vertical crop showing just water (read: colours) and the rightmost boat would be more powerful.
-
Nice close-up, almost abstract. I would love to see the eye, though.
-
Nice pattern, but a bit on the dark and soft side.
-
Interesting angle, nice colours. Too bad the shadow on the building prevents us from seeing interesting details.
-
Oooh, I know what I'll be trying next weekend... This is very cool. Perhaps the angle of view on the glass itself is a bit awkward, but I love the "shadow" and the texture behind it. Well done.
-
Nice mood, but I think it's a bit too generic for my taste. Still, a good effort.
-
Nice shot, I like the mood of the scene. Too bad quite a bit of shadow detail was lost; the contrast seems to overpower the image. Perhaps a square crop would help (cut out the left side and a bit of the right to get rid of the 'extremities'). From the looks of it, this would seem like a lovely place to try black-and-white.

Good exposure, nice close-up shot of this flower. Perhaps a centered composition might have worked equally well, or even better. Since it's a fairly straightforward shot, I rate it about average on originality.
There seems to be somewhat of a halo effect around the flower -- I assume that is a scanner artifact?
-
A bit bland, I'm afraid -- the near-white sky doesn't help either. I think I would rather see a detail of the car or its load.
-
Good eye for details. Contrast seems a bit too high, but I think it's pleasing nonetheless.
-
Pleasing image to look at, the subdued colours actually help. Unfortunately, I think it is also a bit too straightforward to warrant high ratings.
-
Intriguing. Looks like a broken holodeck, but I'm sure it's something quite different.
-
Nicely framed, but I feel like it's going to fall over backwards. Looks a bit weird because of that.
-
This is the kind of abstract shot I like: abstract, but recognisable. Good work, nice texture and colours.
-
I think this image is too vague, even for an abstract one. One might think this was created entirely in Photoshop. I like the contrasting colours, though.
-
The abstract pattern created by the wires of the fence is quite interesting. I'm not too sure about including the post itself; it looks odd.

Nicely done. The green leave doens't seem to help, though. Have you tried using a polarizer on these things? It may help reduce glare and intensify the color of the mushroom's head.
-
A very nice idea. However, the "less is more" principle may well apply. I think it would have been even better if had not been tilted (even if it's just slightly) and cropped more tightly. I would love to see that, and in a bigger version too.
-
I think this image would be better if you had shown the truck in its context (stepping back, using a wider lens) or if you had really concentrated on some detail. The B&W suggestion sounds good as well.
-
Very good! I agree with the oil (paint) comment above!
-
Very nice idea, but since there is virtually no detail in the left and right hand sides, I would prefer a much tighter crop (to a vertical / portrait format, that is).
