taken from a particularly pleasing viewpoint... a lovely depiction with well controlled saturation...  (some of our PN friends tend to over-saturate such scenes, losing the natural charm of the scene sepicted... you have not done that)

Robert,Rajinder, Kawan, Mehmet and Rajat thank you for taking the time to look and comment. Rajat you are right in what you say and I must confess that I was guilty of that practice at times. Hopefully I'm improving. Thanks again.

Breath taking scene, naturally executed and developed. Colors and light are well balanced and natural looking. The sky is a bit bright for whole scene, but by no means inappropriate. I also impressed of dof. An eye-catching capture. Bravo.

Good choice of shutter speed to show the torrent of water and the haze of mist beyond,. Nice detail also in the rocks and some vivid  but natural autumnal colour above. A well balanced shot but maybe a ND grad would have sorted the white sky, and possibly a 2 degree rotation anti clockwise would level the scene a bit better, as it does seem to lean down slightly to the right. But these are things that are easilly remedied.

Very well done Holger!

Best Regards

Holger, this is wonderful, what an interesting neighbourhood. I like the way you caught a bit of the rainbow in the falls. I wonder if this is a residental area? It looks like those are homes above. I would be very nervous about having children living there.

Thanks to all for looking , comments and ratings. Vlad, Linda yes this a surprise to find something like a river, waterfall and small electrical station in the area right near a large city like Paterson, but the entire area is well fenced. This shot was from a walking bridge overlooking the falls. Thanks for your interest.

You nicely composed Holger this beautiful water fall.....

Successful exposure of the fast flowing water and almost 3D depth....

Also nice details and well written textures on the rocks......

I like this image and I did enjoy viewing it.

The exposure here set remarkably and the fall captured in fine details while the DOF selected helped getting all of the surrounding also in very sharp details.

The atmosphere is unique and do add a lot of interest to the composition.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.
