  1. Underside of a catwalk. Canon EOS Rebel, Kodak Tmax 100 film
  2. Underway replenishment - USS Belknap (CG-26) alongside USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) probably 1984.
  3. Happy singing unidentified bird. Nikon D500
  4. You need the Nikon D500. No other camera is a skittilating.
  5. Oddly, you can delete galleries but the individual photos still remain - what you've done in that case is move all your photos to the unsorted gallery.
  6. I think it's [wrong] that a moderator can remove a post for some arbitrary reason or whim, yet the person who OWNS the image and should have all rights to its viewing, can not. That's why I've taken to hosting my images off this site. Don't want to take my image down, moderator, even when I ask? And when I asked for a legitimate reason? Fine. I'll snip the image from the URL and lo and behold, it's gone.
  7. Congrats on the new puppy JDM! I envy you the puppy days, as ours slowly diminish and are replaced with adult-dog sanity. Not that Bagheera will ever be truly sedate or anything. He's got too much energy and a skinny frame that's made for running. A million years ago I had another black Labrador x Golden Retriever named Lupo. He and a yellow Labrador named Raja slept with me in my single bed. Lupo was wierd. He slept between my legs under the covers. He'd leave if he got too hot, but that didn't always happen. Then I met my wife and dog-bed privileges have been reduced or eliminated. Not that Fenris (my Golden) ever really wanted in bed - he too was extremely hot blooded for sleeping next to. Which brings us to Bagheera. Bagheera is somewhere in between. More cuddly than Fenris, but also hot blooded. So this is how he both gets away with being "on the bed" and still stays off the bed. :) He'll stay this way for long periods of time. Usually waiting patiently for me to try and grab and throw his ball. Canon EOS-1V, FILM: Ilford HP5+
  8. Bagheera and his new friend at the dog park. They played like maniacs. He must have been tired, but refused to let on. Such is the stamina of a healthy active pup! Nikon D500
  9. Band competition Fuji GW690II, Ilford XP2 Super film
  10. I agree 100%, but as I've said before, management decided to go to this new format with the expectation that they would gain enough new, paying members that it would offset the loss of veterans. I don't know if they did cost-benefit analysis or if they did nothing but decide to go with the new format based on expected (or dreamed for) revenue. It's obvious that they replaced what was here before, but it's only now becoming apparent that they ruined it for a number of users. It's their toy. They can do with it as they wish.
  11. A goose fight erupts. Canon EOS-1V, Fuji Superia 100 film
  12. I thought the new system was supposed to be better at preventing and detecting this? Yet here today several forums have been spammed. And even more sadly, in the past I never saw these posts because I didn't see the business or wedding forums. Now, in addition to being forced to see posts in forums I care nothing about (phone) I have actual spam to deal with. Such are the improvements.
  13. Just a dog, enjoying life as a pampered pooch. :) D500
  14. Indeed. You can get a low-mileage Canon 20D for that range. Still a better photograph maker than a cell phone, but much harder to fit in your cargo shorts. :)
  15. I recently almost bought a Leica rangefinder and lens. Alas, the "lens" is the hard part. A decent Leica lens will set you back buku bucks. Or you can find a decent lens but NOT a screwmount, in which case the body reams you. I have only one exposure to their SLRs and the ones I looked at were junk bodies.
  16. Didn't finish a roll this week, so one from a couple weeks ago. Canon New F-1, Kodak Tri-X Film
  17. Solved my EOS-1V film scratching problem. So here's a picture: Canon EOS-1V, Fuji Superia 100 film
  18. Y'all know the drill. 1000px max side for the images. Submit up to three of them Medical helo coming in for a landing. Canon EOS Rebel SL1.
  19. But you can't delete all avatars. and go avatar-free, which is silly.
  20. College kids, on College Street, Iowa City. Fujifilm X-T20
