Beautiful shot Simon, excellent composition, wonderful sky and foreground. Me personally I find the blues in the image just a little bit strong in saturation, but still a great image overall, well done. -

I can't believe the image ratings for this shot are as high as they are. Because they should be much higher, wow what an image. Awesome capture, don't you love it when all the elements come together for shot like this. Beautiful light, love that soft light just exposing the distance mountains and that little bit of sun just kissing the rocks in the middle ground is perfect. 7/7 in my book! -
Awesome shot Joseph, great composition the way the trees have nice repeating vertical lines and is also the same in cliffs they are on. Contrast between the dark evergreens and the Larch is very dynamic. I haven't visited your portfolio for a while, glad I checked back you have some really nice work that has been added. I can't believe you only got couple of ratings and they were not deserving at all. I think it deserves much better 7/7 -

Beautiful image, I am always taken with Southwest photography and this is it at it's finest. The composition couldn't be better, love the tree and little bit of snow just makes the image. Really love the colors here with reds, lavender, blues, yellows, orange, greens, browns and so on, wow! Well done Dan. -

This was shot just after a small storm had passed during sunrise. For
about 2 mintues it lit up the whole valley with diffused light, showing all
the detail and color in the cliffs.

Got this shot couple evenings ago when the warm light from sun going
down lit up these ice sculptures, any comments or critiques are
welcome.

Great light here, love those beams hitting the mountains. Death valley is great place and this is shows why.

I was out shooting with friend one early morning at one of my favorite
spots in Oregon dunes and after taking a few shots I climbed up on top
of a sand dune behind us and got this shot. Ended up being my favorite
from that morning.

Hey Eric, great shot here I would love to visit these dunes sometime. I really love the colors here and tension created with the smooth texture in dunes against the strong textured foreground and tree. Only thing that bothers me in this image is that patch of blue sky in top right corner, it looks out of place to me and keeps taking my eye up there and out of the image. In perfect world improvements I would like to see this shot without any sky or show the top of the dune with more sky I think would create better sense of balance.
