A very grand image indeed! I like that you chose a slightly faster shutter speed as not to turn the water into cotton....I feel this implies movement better than the real slow speeds. Fantastic composition,color,sharpness and mood. Keep sharing! :)

I disagree with the cotton comment, i feel ther is too much of that although i have not mastered it. From a realistic stand point i like to see the transparent portions of the water which i think you have capture beautifully. Very nice photo.....it's a keeper for sure.

I think I remember the earlier post of this photo, and you have really improved it. If I recall correctly, the original was darker, apart from the central rocks in the creek, and you have successfully brought up the levels of the areas that were darker before. The effect on the lighting in the clouds is also interesting - a bit of dodging?

Fairy tale!

I can't believe the image ratings for this shot are as high as they are. Because they should be much higher, wow what an image. Awesome capture, don't you love it when all the elements come together for shot like this. Beautiful light, love that soft light just exposing the distance mountains and that little bit of sun just kissing the rocks in the middle ground is perfect. 7/7 in my book!

Wicked mood and shot! Where is this?

 

Couple of quick notes. Some blown out highlights in the water in the middle that could be blended back in and the clouds look a bit too much hdr'ish/dark. Fixing those would push to a 7 for sure.
