Nice composition but, for me, the contrast of this B/W treatment is too strong - especially sky and background land-mass. Softened, it may be excellent.

I really, really like this image. MY only (tiny) suggestion is to try and clone over the bright spot in the cobbled path, but the rest of it is great. Does it work well in Black and White? I imagine it might.

Museeb - congratulations on a lovely, well balanced image. The subject is nice, colours are subtle and it is interesting and calming. I hope you got many images of this old cart as it is lovely.

Nice capture, but is there a little bit of a green/blue colorcast in there. And did you try in B/W? I think this would be quite powerful monochrome.

Very interestingly shaped subject, and nice landscape. My one idea is that this would be a much more powerful image if taken when sun was low and light warmer (eg twilight) to add contrast and shadows. Also have you experimented with cropping to make longer horizontally / panorama style? Might work well.

Nicely done. The slight 'edge' of contrast that the sun provides in the foreground tree makes it really pop. Not an obvious subject but I appreciate the idea and technique.

I really enjoyed seeing this very clean, noble portrait. I have a feeling that this is not some anonymous person to you but rather someone that you respect very much.
  1. Ha! very cool and Monty Python-esque. While I'm intellectually curious about the boundary between photography and other graphic arts due to images like this one, I can nevertheless appreciate them very much for their vision, originality and technique. Congratulations on a really intriguing work.

Beautiful image. Usually I find wildlife shots can be a little cliche'd but there is something really delicate about this - a combination of composition and the tones in the image.
