John: WOW, I very much like the contrast of the light and reddish sand colors. The dead trees make the photo look stark. I would have removed the two people, just it make it more stark and foreboding. Tom

Les: I very much like the narrow DOF. I don't at all find the top of the subject that is out of focus objectionable, the brightly lite portion to my eye balances it out very well. Tom

John: Frankly I don't mind her looking out of the frame. As for the image being flat, I'm not at all use it's flat enough to mention. Her lips aren't. I played with the photo in PS. Tom
