Jana: The reflection is painted.  In fact the entire image is painted on the side of the building. Tom

This is the actual photo, taken just before sunset.  No post processing. Tom

John: Great color and composition.  Do think a little sharpening is in order. Tom

John:  I think the original with the lighter background was better. The masking distracts from the photo. Tom

Margaret: Good overall composition.  Good sharpness except the lower left corner.  Tom

Lannie:  I think this photo works well.  It looks very natural. The whole being prepared thing is great, but a fencepost is better than a tripod any day.  This  photo I wouldn't post process, it's good as is. Tom

Lannie:  Good eye, I really like the effect.  Tom

John: Great capture and use of DOF.  This photo makes me smile.  Tom

Lannie: Good exposure!  Got the moon, cloud, but the barn is very hard to make out. How about a slight adjustment to the color curve?  Tom

John: Another good sunrise.  Very natural color, good capture of the clouds in the water. Tom

John: Good eye, most people wouldn't have seen the photo. Good color saturation and texture.  Tom

Liz: Very nicely done!  Soft focus works!  Tom

Lannie: Now that's a blue heron, nicely captured, the soft colors and the shimmer of the water help make the photo.  I might have cropped out the far shore, but I have to say the image is very original. Tom

Liz:  When we view any photo, we all put our own prespective on what the result should be.  You and I just had a different view today, one's not better than the other just different.  Tom

John: Good use of the long lens! Tom

Gail:  Thank you so much for the story that goes with this picture.  We have many examples like your Thelma and her husband Roy, couples that have found love and learned to live long happy lives with adversity.  We truly need to be thankful our servicemen, they help to keep us free. You are luck to have met Thelma.   Tom

Liz: I like the composition, but find the image a little overexposed. Did a levels adjustment, shifted the midpoint to the right.  Tom
