Dunes of Sossusviei

John:  WOW, I very much like the contrast of the light and reddish sand colors.  The dead trees make the photo look stark.  I would have removed the two people, just it make it more stark and foreboding.  Tom

It is interesting how your viewers differ in opinion.  I thought it to be just a ho-hum picture of the great outdoors until I spotted the people.  The human body gives it scale and meaning.  This is a picture of the GREAT outdoors.

Is that a flying bird directly above the people a little more than half way to the top?

Thanks Tom  & Jerry for your critique. I left the people in as a measure of  scale &  interest  so I think it looks better. The object half way up the dune is a green bush & not a bird.   John.
