This picture is a delight. The lines and angles are working and the water motion is very effective. Regards.

Jeff, I wanted to comment on this fine shot as a way of letting you know I am slipping back into PN and will be posting soon. Your regional shots continue to inspire. Regards.

Tony, I am working my way back into PN and I wanted to drop by your images to be re-inspired. And this shot does just that. Thanks for your encouragement in the past I hope to be posting soon.

What a nice change of pace shot. Away from the wide landscape to the detail. Well done. I am getting back into pn and I wanted to drop in and say high. Take care.

Yes, a classic, but not a classic that I have been able to capture, yet, on my Yosemite trips. The open shade type light and the rushing water combined with the sharp focus, well it all just comes together. By the way, I am back in pn and hope to have some new contributions up soon. Regards.

Ray, just dropping in, been away a long time and this is my first comment upon arriving back in pn. Love the lines here and the two big rocks, hurrah to the rocks and moss crowd.

This is a solid and power capture of a moment in time. Composed well with three distinct bands of interest. Lit well with the bright light on the right being very well balanced on the left. Best regards.

The colors and the range of blues are what draw me in to this image. The cold ice in contrast to the green, well done. The center dividing line reduces the impact of the image for me, up a little, down a little would likely make a stronger composition.

An excellent image and the inclusion of the hikers ads a level of originality, context and scale. Regards.

Well done, as you post more and more images in this series, it is really growing on me. Without attributing meaning, the series has strong continuity and composition with original artistic flair and concepts. Well done.

A delightful picture with a grand caption full of smiles. Merry Christmas. The lack of scale is very effective in this image.

Each element is working well here. The curving line, the moon, fantastic, the colors and clouds, thank you for sharing and your description really adds to the image.

This is a fine image indeed. The foreground is really excellent. There may be another angle or shot that you have already taken, off to the right where you can see both wrecks without overlapping images.

This may very well work in BW. I like it, this is a good effect to mute the spotlight of the full moon and spread the light around. The red color, while interesting might be a little distracting. The strong diagonal lines are excellently composed.

Several very good things here. The laser effect is very nice and I recommend you test this idea further. The visible face of the automatic is too dark and lacking in detail. Since it is in the dark the focal point moves to the boxes of shells as if they were the primary subject. Keep shooting and posting and sharing.

This image has much potential. The background colors and tones lend themselves well to the subject. The straight side on angle is less interesting then a more diagonal viewpoint. The tones on the metal and the wood are good, a little more light in some regions would help. The raised bolt and open chamber on the rifle is a little distracting. Or, the raised bolt lever becomes the central focal point and it is out of focus. I would certainly encourage you to keep working this idea.

Very well done. Interesting DOF and nice formal organization. The overall "noise" level does seem high.

There is some good stuff here and some areas that can be improved. The shells around the base, since they are random, imply ejected shells, thus they should be empty, or some should be empty. A full magazine would do nicely for the full rounds. The out of focus or soft focus barrel does not work for me, it contradicts the cold hard message of the firearm. If that mixed message was the desired message, then, well done. The colors and light is good, the fabric background is an interesting choice since it again, sends the softer message rather then the more obvious sharp and harsh message. Good job on the overall production value.

What a shot. I am surprised regarding the few comments considering the many views this shot has received. What a wave, what a storm. To actually be out there would be wild indeed. I can see value in just a little bit of cropping off the bottom OR the top, I really like the width of the shot since it gives some good context.

Jeff, you just explained the focus, you stacked it. What a great demonstration of the technique. Regards.
