I read all the above comments and I might say this whole idea and execution is so humane. It sort of makes you grounded and sad when thinking about it.

I agree, Africa is a coloured mess. I think it's not easy to balance all those colours. Personally, I am not attracted with african cultural heritage. It is a land of pain and suffering. I find brave anyone who goes there.

Very appealing!

I'd like it better with the mist. I am very much attracted by the idyllic villages covered with either mist, fog or snow.
I can't see any trails of removing the mist here. However, it looks all right to me. I like this flat tonalities.

I like this version of the road forest better. I looked at image from some distance and the central upper part of the lavish-looking branches appear visually very interesting. They add something special to the whole scenery. It's like they play an optical illusion on you. You may try it.

It is a very good portrait. The icy colour background and fabric of her blouse certainly add to evoke the northern european ethos. I like your high-key solution for this portrait.

The picture needs to be brighten up, in my opinion. Now it is a colourful mess.
The woman's face and of a boy too, is sinking, disappearing.

Hommage to Vermeer?! Her face is so beautiful and radiant. Wonderful portrait.

This image provides a restful visual effect with such arrangement of colours and forms - elements.
Every element - the tree line and the benches on the left; the monument, the light pole, the bus, the car and the figure are well balanced even regardless of what colour they are depicted. I think that this curious arrangement of those elements play a significant part telling you why is this composition so special. Thus can not be regarded as ordinary.
Congratulations, Natalia. 7/7 all the way!

This is very nice portrait. It's like there are three sitters, including the shadow. I wonder did they staged those expressions or were they for real? If it was for real, I appreciate your capture very much.

Time Keeper, I like the title. Blending works well for this motif.

Thanks, Jose for presenting one more example on the same theme by Miguel. I must say that his cattle resemble humanised expression. They look a bit unhappy, thus a bit angry and bitter. This is what makes it special, for me.

It reminded me of a poem "Leaves of Grass" by Walt Whitman.

I like both versions of the cattle. This one for me has more dramatic sense than of Marina. Maybe because they are humanised - bowed heads and expression.

Oliver, I think that the first, original picture is much better. I like that thick frame. I can't see any detail improvement, though.

Very bright commercial photo. This golden - yellow texture of the rocks looks very vivified.

It is absolutely beautiful portrait of your daughter. The right vantage point where the light draws her face, the locks, fingers and arm. Her eye is in a fine position and it makes a whole face so beautiful. It, sort of, pulls in my attention where my eyes wonder around. So, I think that the portrait has a visual depth due to rich tonalities and the fact that it's a close-up portrait. It's like, your look can be locked into the portrait. It is very clever way of making the portrait.

That light does something nice to the place.

This is too dark vision for me.
