Good Morning Donna, I like this clever and well presented image. The BG has an eerie light effect behind the foliage, which I think adds to the gloomy atmosphere. Of course gloomy is appropriate at a murder site. Well seen and the title is right on.

Best Regards,

Holger

Ahh the dark side of tree surgery!  I think Holger summed up the "Murder Scene" very well, but there remains an element of hope in the living tree that remains...........I like your take on this scene, great vision!

Best Regards

Pierre..for your luv of art... thank you ;-} dp

Holger.. you always see inside my pictures, and it brings me such joy ;-}dp

Alf... i wonder how much, deep in the recesses of my imagination, this picture is somehow influenced by your photo "split ends" and Billy K's desolate landscapes. i always know my pictures have merit of sorts when you comment; i think every picture i take these days is influenced by the current brutal washington dc heat ;-} dp

Sinister twist with this one.  Daddy comes home to find his family gone!  Right out of a Steven Seagal movie.  Man with the chainsaw watch your back, your days are numbered!  Best, LM.

After a brief investigation we have a suspect in custody.  We're questioning him now.  Stay tuned.  Best, LM.

I really like the way this is done. The blur in the foreground and background are perfect to provide the air of both mystery and sadness (as if viewing through teared up eyes. Impressive image of something that 99.9 percent of the time might not even get a first look. Cheers

Kristina, indeed life can be very dark; i understand your reaction; you're courageous for reacting to an image that disturbed you. dp
