huh, been quite a while since my last upload..
what do you think about this one? Makes you wanna go on vacation?
cheers, patrick

wonderful shot, Stephen! I really do love how the "tracks" in the foreground lead your eye to the horizon and how the interesting rock formation on the left is competing with the setting sun for the viewer's attention.
what more can I say, than ... wonderful! :-)
kudos, patrick

thanks for your honest words! i really do appreciate them.
Alf, you're right, the treatment may be kind of too much for most tastes. I wasn't too sure myself, yet I considered the untreated border to lack some information, to be 'too empty'. thus, I didn't remove the treatment :-)
Drew, thanks for pointing out your view of the strengths of this shot, your oppinion is one good anchor for my future development, kudos

mmmmh wonderful how you captured this scenery, Albena. I really love it, finding myself getting 'lost' in the details of this shot. From all the various shots/crops of this scene, this one is by far the one I consider extraordinary. I also wonder how this one would look printed out as a poster in 150x100cm on my wall :-)all the best,

after a long absence of photography, I'd decided to give it another go and request a critique for this landscape shot of Portstewart's coast (Northern Ireland).
please let me know wheter you like that shot and what's still missing. thanks, patrick

thanks Bob :)

this shot shows 'Mussenden Temple', an Irish landmark on the north coast. I hope you like the way it's done and tell me what you think about it.
thanks for looking :)

thanks Birte, that's too nice :) what would you add to make it a 7/7 in your eyes instead of 6/6?

hi Trisha,
I'm happy to hear you stumbled across this photo and love it - it is kind of the start of my photographic experiences, which now seems to be ages ago :)
best wishes, patrick

I appreciate your honest words, Burcu. You are right, it's a question of personal taste and somehow I'm into this weird alteration style ;)

I'm really glad you like the alteration in this image, it took me some time to get it 'right'.
