Suggestions welcome. I loved the color in this!

I grew up on the Kansas/nebraska border! Too bad we can't see all of nature in it's beauty w/out powerlines to ruin the scerenity. But, your photo w/ the power lines in it reflects our world and how we HAVE to see it with the littering of mankind. Stunning photo. Reminds me of home.

I stopped to shoot these colorful masks in the small tourist town of
Tarpon Srings FL. I was playing with f2.8 and it was also my first
experience shooting and post processing in RAW.

This is my first attempt at using a hair light to help separate the subject from the background. I knew I would need to do something because of her dark brown hair and chocolate backdrop.

Thanks so much everyone! She was so shy and this finally brought out a little grin!

Sometimes it's just best to let kids be kids! This un-posed shot
turned out to be much more fun that the poses I tried to have her sit
in. That's often the case when working with kids!

I'm really not sure if I like the b/w version or color version of this photo better. See my portfolio for the color one if you wish and let me know which version you prefer!

Your posing is exceptional...shows you put a lot of thought into this BEFORE shooting the photo! It also is apparent that you told everyone how to place their hands...something often forgotten about. You also placed the horizon line perfectly so that it didn't run through the middle of any heads. My only wish is that ALL the guys had their shirts off. Something about the white shirts is bugging me a bit...maybe because my eye goes there first instead of to the faces. Other than that...congrats on the well planned photo...and beautiful family!

Finally another little boy to photograph! I'm so used to pink at home
that blues and reds are nice change. C&C welcome

Well....not clever...just lucky! In the real photo I chopped one leg off of the pink stool...and when I cropped, I laughed and said..well at least it kinda looks like a cupcake.

The dress.....a .50 purchase at a garage sale down the street!
