I like her look and emotion in this shot...just wondering why the background is so busy. I'm no pro....but since you're just starting out with maternity shots I thought you might like to see some of my work. I do most of my work with black velvet as the back drop.

umbrella to work with. I have an beginners eye in regards to

lighting....what makes the lighting in this photo work/not work?
