I see someone like it, someone definitely does not.
Could someone provide a bit feedback what is particularly wrong here?
Thanks

I tried to make it cold but not too cold
Thanks for viewing and comments

Thank you, guys, for inspirational comments.
There is not much manipulation with this picture. Beside gradual filter of course I added a bit pink at the boundary between cold and hot to make transition more gradual and increased temperature a bit at bottom half. Otherwise the color contrast is too drastic.
In winter photographie I found sometimes challenging to have deal with extreme color contrast: Snow especially in shadow normally bluish or even just blue, sunset-sunrise are of course how it supposed to be very warm. I still have a few pictures which I do not know how to color-correct. I will publish them later for discussion
Thanks again and happy New year everyone!

You should upload bigger version. Your size is not big enough to enjoy this interesting photo

Although this is already noon, the sun only appeared in the Lynn Canyon.

I like this photo, but I think a lot of green leaves gives the green cast. A bit color correction could improve it: try to remove green cast and add more contrast
Thank you

Thanks a lot!

There is no realy "manipulation". Just double exposure for the moon.
When I enlarged it I noticed the stars. What I could improve? Thank
you

To Dan: You are right, I over-sharped it. I tried to achieve some effect by exaggerating. Usually I'm careful about sharpening. But here without it, the thin branches almost invisible on dark background. I tried too much sharpness and some nice texture appeared. I guess we can count it as "manipulation" because in reality the branches are not so obvious.

This is my first attempt to expose my pictures outside my family and
close friends. What do you think?

Icy water of Lynn Creek
in Landscape

I think 1/10 of sec is more appropriate to illustrate violent nature of the icy
water of the Lynn Creek.
Unfortunately no CPL at that time.
