You are right: there is a flare on the right side. I did not notice it, but you did! You have very expirienced eye.  It is probably a flare from the edge of the gradual ND filter wihich was not completely closing the front of the lens. Probably I holded it in the hands. I do not remember now the details. But the evidence is here: the whole right edge of the picture is slightly lighter.

Thank you, Tony, for visiting my pictures. What I tried to achieve in postprocessing here is to minimize the noticable halo around the sun. I think I still have not succeeded. I think it is a common problem for such types of pictures and I want to learn to manage it out. If you or someone has any suggestens I'd be happy to hear them. Thanks again

Technically this picture is interesting and quite original. What is wrong with it and why it is still not perfect? I think, the vignetting is to focus more attention on main point of composition to increase the drama and suppress insignificant details. In this case - on the center. But for me the center looks a bit empty. The things in the center do not look significant. They are either too small (foreground rocks), or not as contrasty as other things (background cloud).

 which, I think, suffers from the similar problem: lack of point of interest.

IMHO if you clip a bit bottom it was right thing to do. I just took off from bottom about 10% and it looks better.

It is dramatic. And definitely a composition. The look is focused on the central part where interesting details are discovered. The dramatic sky makes the look more concentrated on the center. Color contrast between sky and the ice, between water and the ice is wonderful
