I like the moment and lighting, but I think you over saturated it :(

Interesting shot. I would increase contrast though

Beautiful shot! Always wanted to do something like this.
The difficult part of doing these kinds of shots is getting the focus right due to the lack of detail during nightime.I think in such case DOF calculator would be helpful. Accordingly to the calculator, the parameters you used and the distance to the closest rocks in foreground 30 feet away the DOF is 4.7 ft - Infinity. So my point is it is not required to focus it at all, but just set the distance approximately using the lens scale. Moreover I think you could keep the apperture more opened and thus decrease ISO or exposure time and have enough DOF.
Would be nice to hear feedback from people who have practical expirience

Although the composition looks balanced and 1/3-ed (not perfect though) I have feeling that I'd like to see more of the creek on the bottom. The bottom line of the frame hides more intersting details. The details of the roks and water are so interesting and perfectly processed.

This picture was taken at the same day as this one http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=14270432 but 10 minutes later. It made the color on the top more intense and color on the bottom - colder

I have tried 50/50 with the zoom (in fact it was displyed before), but did not like it as much as the current variant. The reason: I like in the current variant the gradual transition and deep dark blue and cold tones of the winter early morning and the perfect water surface.
In fact I have tried to zoom these trees many times but was always not happy. I think someone else should try. I know there are good photographers in the area. I have left a chance for them :)

Very good and original composition. Interesting clouds!
The shadows on left and right bottom make a trouble for me :(

"Hummingbird on one hand and the camera in the other"
Such simple!
Janine, you certainly know magic. I think, a lot of photographers envy you and would like to find out your secret :)

One of the most gorgeous!
Excellent!
Thanks

Bravo! The best!
I know that it is nearly impossible to catch it. During the fight they are flying on such speed that they are almost could not be seen. I tried to shoot but gave up. Even video cannot help. Walter, you must know a secret how to do it or extremely lucky?

Again a good composition. I think the colors are not important here. Have you tried B&W?

I like the abstraction. You could try B&W. The colors here are not so important. Thank you
