Nice sunburst, bumper reflection and wide angle - good to pick out a part and tell a story with it. The headlight, blinker and bumper almost look like one side of a face.

Photographs should speak for themselves - too much leading critique by you I think. The contrast in the shirt colours is good but no ball. Also they are a bit straight which makes it more static - if the tacklee was leaning forward it would have more impact. Nicely framed, background a bit bright above the crowd.

Nice detail, set the ambient exposure up a little for some nice background green. May also look good flipped upwards.

A shallow DOF, nice water drops. The red colour here holds the eye out around the edges lessening the effect of the dark interior - which could hold attention.

There is some nice horizontal layering through the photo. The cold blue middleground tone is nice. Silhouette framing is a good idea but just a tiny bit of detail would be nice.
-
A well lit portrait - the curve line of the profile and the colour work well. The white highlights in the hair are distracting.

How many eyes does a spider have?

Richard, have you tried CS3's photomerge? Seems to be much better than CS2.

I actually like some of the detail in the full that's not so obvious in the crop. The red detail on the mountains is superb and there's balance with the snow capped mountains. The trees do add interest on the right where the greens are duller - but the eye is drawn to the red and the path to the sun. Looks like a great day - with the cloud keeping the contrast down. What are you joining with - the exposure balance is not perfect.

I'm pretty new to macro and don't have any of the clamps and stuff - I
was handholding the camera and flash for this one and focusing by
moving myself. Would appreciate some tips ('buy more gear')

It's a nice scene, well done as it is and can be improved further. The transitions at the horizons and rocks would be better done using 'old fashioned' digital blending and limited contrast masking, blending everything actually loses drama and moves towards 'plastic' as sharp local contrast is lost.

What's more to say. 7/7 (v rare for me)

You could say it's well balanced, close to symmetrical. Nicely detailed.

Love the high key, original treatment, sharp, piercing eyes and gagged look. Strangely, the butterfly and lower part of the portrait don't work as well for me

Looks like it could use some judicious contrast masking - the setup is great but the ibex could be better exposed and the snow/rainbow given more impact.

Nice shot, happy smile, isolation of the bride. The bridesmaids blurred is a good idea but what's behind them should be even more out of focus as it's distracting. You could crop a little off the right to get rid of some of that. Would also have been nice to place the bridesmaids a little side-on.
