Leica P300 or P600 (the P600 have two lamps, rapidly and automatically interchangeable). Kindermann Diafocus 2500 or Braun 600 series are also true excellent products. See the Leica, Braun and Kindermann website for more infos.

In the italian forum www.leicapassion.com, i know many forumist that are very happy with their Leicas M8. They are using only the DNG files that are printing only on the chemical photographic paper, both in colour or black and white photographs. The Leica M9, with FF sensor, are coming soon.

FE2 or FM2n
in Nikon
If you want Auto TTL flash and AE priority, choose the FE-2, with two mechanical shutter speeds without batteries (M250). If you want all mechanical shutter speeds, choose the FM2n.
The FM3A work exactly as the FE-2 but without batteries all the shutter speeds are available.

I own both the lenses. The Summicron C 40/2 on the Leica CL and the Summaron 35/2.8 with goggles on the Leica M5. About the optical renditions i agree with Thomas Tseng.

The dealer are very shabby. This camera is only a FED 5 with a true improbable Leica trademarks. Don't deceive neither a child! A Leica M with LTM mount... Absolutely crazy!!! A true raving realization.

The collapsible lenses on Leica CL are all usable, without collapsing the lens. Nevertheless, is better to use a classic Summicron 50 or the Summicron C 40/2. I own a Leica CL that i use with the Summicron C 40/2, a very tack sharp lens.

The ink jet prints are less durable in respect to the classic silver halide prints. If you want a very good durable of your prints, you can contact a good photo laboratory to print your best digital shots.

I own a Nikon F with meterless prism, an excellent camera that needs only a good hand held meter or the Sunny 16 rule.
Speaking of Nikkormat FTn, i think is better the Nikkormat FT2, that employ the common 1,55 silver oxide battery. Or the Nikkormat FT3, whit AI lens coupling system and 1,55 silver oxide battery.

I own Leica M2, M5, CL and MP with Summaron 35/2.8, Summicron 50/2 DR, Summicron C 40/2, Summitar 50/2, CV Ultron 35/1.7, CV Apo Lanthar 90/3.5, Nikkor LTM 85/2 and Nikkor LTM 135/3.5. Also i prefer using my M5, a very great camera.

Hi Jonathan, sorry for my bad english. My Summaron 35/2.8 and Summicron 50 DR are both coated (both are made in 1962). For "plasticity" i want to denote the soft and gradual passing from the focused areas to the out of focus areas of the composition (bokeh?) with the background of the scene that is not confused and shapeless, but is an active part of the scene.

I prefer the rendition of my Summaron 35/2.8 or Summicron 50 D.R. because they allow a better bokeh and better plasticity, in respect to the ultra razor sharp APO and/or ASPH Summicron or the new Summarit 2.5, that are a less pleasantness in bokeh and plasticity.

Both are great lenses. I own the VC 15/4.5 and my brother own the VC 21/4. The 21 have the rangefinder coupling, the 15 have only the hyperfocal system, the 15 have a 110? angle of field, the 21 have a 90? angle of field. The sharpness is very godd in both wideangles.

I have a Leica MP and i use with a DR Summicron from 1962 (48 cm as maximum short focus distance) without any problem.

35mm Summicron attachment for M3
in Leica and Rangefinders
Posted
The 35 mm f/ 2 Summicron and 35 mm f/ 2,8 Summaron with goggles are different from the same lenses without goggles. In fact, the goggled version engage the 50 mm frameline in the viewfinder, with all Leica M cameras. The goggles enlarge the 50 mm frameline up to the 35 mm frameline. This happen because the Leica M3 have only the 50, 90 and 135 mm frameline in the viefinder. If you remove the goggles, your lens engage only the 50 mm frameline, also whit M4, and you need an external 35 mm finder to do the composition.
