Daniela,
What's your problem? My critique is short and to the point. The pose alone renders this photo subpar for John. I don't believe that I have to write an essay covering every aspect of the photo to make my opinion clear. If I had merely said "great job," you probably would not have objected.

Oops! Now that I am at home and using a far better monitor, I see that verticle is the only way, and that this is really a terrific image.
-
The pose is slightly ridiculous.
-
I like it, but I wonder how it would look with a horizontal orientation.

Great work. I love the colors and the light. Nicely cropped, too.
-
The hands are amazing. I believe that the cropping is too tight; I want to see more of the right shoulder. Also, the contrast too high for my taste.

I don't know how to respond to images such as this. Taken as it is, I think it is an outstanding combination of nature and landscape photography. But if the bird was digitally inserted, I feel as though I have been tricked, because this scene never existed in the real world. Why I feel this way about photographs is a puzzle, as I do not place the same restrictions on paintings.

It's gorgeous, but I would prefer the bird more to the right.

A very funny slice of life. Beautiful tones.
-
This could be truly excellent if you would crop the crud at the bottom of the frame.

This is a fine example of documentary style photography. Darkening the edges increases the emotional impact.
-
It's lovely and atmospheric, but I would like to see a bit more of the foreground.
-
It's great even with the subject centered. The illuminated clouds seem to radiate from his body.

Excellent work, as usual. I find the bright area in the upper left corner to be a bit distracting, but otherwise it is nearly perfect.

Very impressionistic. I cannot decide whether I like the dark foreground on the left. Yes, I do; it helps with perspective.

What a unique and captivating portrait! Beautifully posed, composed and exposed. The shallow focus works very well.
-
I love the duotone (if that's what it is).
-
Very dynamic and exciting, with excellent colors and composition.

Definitely worthy of publication.
