I agree: Utmärkt arbete! Sam, as always, highest marks for your work. How do you do it?!

Always bring your camera when you go skating is one thing I learn from seeing this one. I just love the mist hiding the other side of the lake. Last christmas we had similar weather conditions on Siljan so this is a photo I really can relate to. I can almost hear the cracking sounds of skates against the Ice. Härligt!!!

Thank you Robert, this foreground has it´s purpose to put the main object in focus. But i don´t know if thats working.

A crop off the bottom for me.

i vote no on the crop. i think the frosty stuff in the foreground and the veiny lines coming toward us are what offset the island being off center --and provide a textural variety to the smooth ice. superb photo.
