Greetings from Corvallis. One of your best in my opinion! I think you captured all of the many elements perfectly. I'm glad to see that you got a 16-35MM F2.8L, I just got one as well. I'm REALLY impressed that you got a 1Ds Mark III, Majorly envious there. How's the waterproofing on that one?? ;-)
Know anyone who could use a 17-40MM? I have one for sale.

This is an exquisite image! The angle, exposure and composition is very good. I too use the 100MM Macro from Canon. Something else you can do is to use cut roses and ambiaent light through a window. When I try this outside always seems to be a breeze. Using a 25MM Extension tube from Canon with your 100MM Macro will help a bunch too. All in all your image is very well done!

This shot has so many fantastic elements, frozen speed, rider's expression, dirt flying, awesome job!
They're having a Shrewsbury Faire in Sept up here by Corvallis, I plan on going.
Will be lots of horses, jousting, etc.
take care.

Cat photos can be so difficult, the background in this image is so subtle that it really brings the cat into your focus nicely, well done.

Great capture, I used to ride those things all over when I was in Thailand. You utilized a much underused technique with the pan and capture, well done.

Brutally beautiful, the positioning of the feet really makes it interesting

No Worries, we all really like it too, even if we say we don't. Nice work.

Hi Don, Greetings from Corvallis, I recognized your work before I saw your name on this one, magificent love the DOF. I've been meaning to ask you, What EOS lenses do you have and use most? do you use zooms? or fixed prime lenses? I got the EOS 5D and EF 17-40MM, 24-105MM, 100-400MM and the 100MM Macro. Trying to decide what to get in addition to that. Your thoughts?

This reminds me of Texas Falls in Vermont, only you lucked out and had better light than I did. I love the tightness of this shot and the geometry of the rocks shaped by the water.

And not always the easiest shot to set up.

Hi Dave, Awesome Capture, even the bit of greenery in the lower edge is nice. Carol and I are heading to New England next month. I've got an EOS 5D now. I'll be posting alot when I return. Take Care.

Hi Jim, Great image. Perfectly framed the clouds are very interesting too, look like Indian smoke signals. When you use your DSC-F828 to do IR work, do you use any filtering? I have a DSC-F707 but haven't done much with it as far as IR, it's been a workhorse otherwise. Just got an Canon EOS 5D but still would like to explore some IR. Nice work.

Hi Chris, nice shot of the Yaquina Bay Bridge, I wish they would finish repairing it. I'll have to tell you about a nice vantage point to shoot it sometime.

Hello Miss Chris, I LOVE the light coloration here, nicely done. I looked at the other bridge shot and I have to say I prefer this one. Something about a shot done at an angle has always been more appealing to me. I've shot this bridge many times, and it always looks flat unless there's some interesting light. Carol and I are just back from Chicago and Allentown PA. Carol did Lancaster and together we did "Fallingwater" in Bear Run. Photos will be posted soon. Keep up the great work ;-)

This has a very surreal feel to it the exposure and comp is perfect. I especially like that the falls are offset and the stream is included as much as it is.

The 5D is producing some of the best images shown here. You did a great job. I have a 5D also and I'm delighted by it.

Hi Lou Ann, This is very appealing the the contrast of the hot pink against the black background lends to the overall contrast. The white edge od the petals is also brought out by the Darkness. the way you have part os 2 other blossoms is nice too. I always enjoy your work, thanks for sharing.
