There are so many pleasing elements in the natural beauty of both the model and how this photo was composed. The windblown hair, the lighting and shadows are very appealing and eyecatching. The complexity of expression, the sheer look of contentment captured is flawless. There is a lot of nonverbal communication going on between Photographer and subject. This photo is a true standout.

The layers of color are captivating, I think I would have attempted to get the top of the pole in the foreground in the frame and a little less of the dark part at the bottom. The image has a very high appeal the way that it is. Overall it reminds me of the song "The Telegraph Road" by Dire Straits.

The whimsical smirk of this young lady gives her expression an air of wisdom and maturity beyond her years. This child is nobody's fool. To capture this much expression and emotion in an image is exceptional.

The vibrant colors of the image make this tiger roar.

I was moved by the emotion that was portrayed by the scupltor in
these statues. The rain dripping from the hat brims seems to add to
the despair of that hopeless era.

Nice composition. I like it when there is a contrast of subjects, why on earth would a nude woman want to be lugging around a huge wrench that she could barely lift? Adds to the enigmatic tone of the photo and to the whimsy as well.

Against the subdued background this image positively glows, the composition and exposure are perfect.

Mark Twain said, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San
Francisco." Having grown up near by I would agree. This photo was
taken Aug 28th, it was about 40 degrees. I've taken pictures at the
same spot in February when it was brilliant blue and 75 Degrees.
