This is an exquisite image! The angle, exposure and composition is very good. I too use the 100MM Macro from Canon. Something else you can do is to use cut roses and ambiaent light through a window. When I try this outside always seems to be a breeze. Using a 25MM Extension tube from Canon with your 100MM Macro will help a bunch too. All in all your image is very well done!

Thanks Randy, that's a great suggestion and I will try it. I went to your site and you have some wonderful macro work. I plan to spend more time on it looking at your images.

Beautiful image Suzi. There is a softness to the light and contrast that suits the subject so well. The arrangement of petals is very strong and builds a captivating composition that holds my attention well. Nice work.
