The only problem I have with it is the colored background. I would use black or white as to not distract from the subject. Her vest color and hat clash with the background color. Otherwise its adorable.

I really like the emotion of the photo. I played with it in PS. First I added a soft light effect and than added an omni light to draw the eye to the groom. Beautiful capture!

I think you are off to a good start. If you have the Love and Passion for children and photography you will succeed. I would have liked this capture more if the little girl would have been looking down at the baby instead of at you. It would have connected them more. Is this a film scan or do you shoot digital? It seems rather grainy. Overall I like the tones. Keep it up.

I love your version. My eye goes right to the couple because of her dress. In the other my eye goes to the bright water and the bushes first than I find my way to the couple. I like the darkness of the surrounding in your version. Another beauty!

Thank you for your advise on both of Katie's pictures. I like the cloning in of the flowers on the other and I agree on this about the catchlight.I used fill flash with my lightsphere. It bothered me also after I posted it and was really looking at it. I think we may both be perfectionist...which is a good thing because we are always striving for better. Thank you for your encouraging comments. I always like hearing from you and also admire your work.
