Hi Will,

I totally agree about the busy background but it was the only ounce of shade in the entire yard. The rest was scrub oak and rock.I was hoping to blur the background more but couldnt achieve it with this lens with out geting closer and there was a huge flower bed between us. I guess I could have carefully walked into it. Could of, would of, should of. Next time right?

I do think this is a nice picture.I would have liked just a little more space above his head. If you have the desire to do photography than just do it,love it and enjoy it. I added alittle contrast to your capture to bring up the colors a little.

Beautiful capture of a beautiful child. It seems a little flat to me.I brought up the contrast and did some burning around the eyes to make the eyes stand out. Hope you dont mind.

Really cute capture. I like the composition and the colors. I played in PS with it a little ,hope you dont mind. His face is a little washed out so I burned around his eyes to make them stand out more and darkened it a little.

I think this is a great capture of this handsome fellow. My eye is drawn to the dark area to the bottom left. I think a crop alittle off center draws me more to the boy. This is just my opinion though,I am sure others will see it differant. Thanks for sharing
