    Beautiful Capture Mandy.

Is that window light from the side or a strobe? And does the other side have fill light or a reflector? Thanks for your info. Nice work.

    Thank you Emily,

Did you get the email I sent you a week or so back?

It's nice to take a break from weddings and get back into my children and family shots.I been doing a lot of family portraits for the holidays.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family also!

    Hey Michael,

Nice to hear from you again. This is my daughter and her husband and of course my grandchildren. The kiss from my grandaughter was totally unprompted, thats what makes it so precious to me. Love your hand picture on the social board.I have not looked at your portfolio in awhile. I am off to do so. Thanks for your comments

Personally it doesn't do anything for me. If the girls had been unaware of you and just simply enjoying playing in the curtains and having a fun time and you caught the moment ...yes but they are to posed and stiff for my taste but thats just me. If you love it, than enjoy it for what it means to you.

    Beautiful captures and beautiful colors.

The only thng that bothers me is the bottom picture how her feet are cut off. I found myself looking for her feet. Maybe crop that one up as it appears to have a lot of empty space above their heads.Just my 2 cents for what its worth.

    Mark,

I like the shot but I am not sure what you used to convert it to B&W. If you use the gradient map option in PS it gives the B&W more contrast. Just a suggestion for you.

    Edward,

Under filters find the liquify setting. It will take the picture to a new screen. Find the tool on the left side called the pucker tool. Run it along whatever body part you want to shrink or place it in the middle of big cheeks and click it a few times and watch what it does. Play around with the brush sizes and other adjustments.

There is another tool under the pucker to make things larger...lips and etc. Just use it gently so you dont disort the picture. It works great on double chins.

Email me if you have any other questions about it.

    Edward,

The lighting looks great. I took just a little of the shine off the brides face and helped her out in the arm department. Also the grooms chin. My brides appreciate it when I take off a few inches just so it still looks like them and is not a drastic amount.

    Thanks Stephanie

Have the party hold hands and spread out in a line. The less in the background the better but sometimes that impossible.Make sure the lighting is even ..all sun or all shade. Have them drop hands and tell them at the count of one squat down and at the count of three jump as high as you can with arms in the air.

I love the Jump because its differant everytime. We do it 3 times telling them each time to jump higher. The girl on the far right was preg. and could not jump so we told her to just put her hands up and lift her foot like she was jumping. When your shooting it doesn't look like they are jumping very high but the pictures are always great. Check out my girls and guys on the trampoline pictures those were fun also.
