I can't believe that there are no comments on this photo. For what it's worth, I love it - the idea, the composition, the timing, the execution. I think it's as close to perfect as possible. Great job, well done. Compliments to the model as well.
-
My first impression was "this is Fabulous - pity about that bedpost that is smack in the middle" but then I realized that it was not really in the middle but resulted that way because of the additional signature. The photo was perfectly composed n my humble opinion.

Thanks a lot for your kind comments. Very much appreciated and I obviously mirror your sentiment. He is my happiness.

Lovely!!! Very sensual. Great model and pose.

Therapy? performed at the Sky Club Malta on the 30th April 2009.

Well at the risk of sounding obvious, I feel you could have cropped a little blank space from the top. That said it's a great photo and I like it a lot. The lighting is excellent. Well done.

Son Nathan (almost 2) lying on sofa. Thanks for viewing, please
comment and/or critique.

The toes are not cut off but they are maybe a little too much in shadow. I would have left a little more space both at the top and the bottom of the frame. Excellent photo nevertheless. well done.

Slightly better result but still the same problem (IMHO). If this is your daughter try doing another session and this time use flash to fill in.
-
I would suggest that next time you use the flash to fill in the face. Some people have the wrong impression that flash is only used at night, while the little experience I have has taught me that flash is even more important in strong sunlight. In this case the backlighting is awesome but the fill lighting is missing, and since the main subject is the very pretty girl, it's a missed opportunity. Finally a direct flash would also have added a catchlight in the subject's eyes while lighting them up for a much more interesting shot. Just my humble opinion.

One of a short series of my son Nathan. He really looks like having
lots of fun! Please view larger and thanks for your time and

Yeah I noticed it allright! It's a brilliant capture and I love the composition. Lighting is great or should I say it's excellent use of bad light LOL Well done.
-
Idea is very good.I would have liked a little more shadow detail and rim light on her right leg as well.
-
It's an excellent photo and the model is very beautiful. I like the pose and the expression and the light is good. What I find a bit distracting is the light reflection on the top left side and I believe it could have easily been fixed. JMHO. Cheers.

My 15 month old son, Nathan enjoying his playtime with daddy (even
though he must be thinking "why does my dad insist on bringing that
huge black thing that emits light and shows my photos on the screen"
LOL) Please give me your views, thanks.

I think the effect looks good. Great idea.

Don't mind????? Are you kidding me!!! That's unbelievable!!! Brilliant, I'm amazed at how you percieved your edit. I guess it comes with experience (at least I hope LOL) Thanks. I love it.

Since a few of you were unsure of the crop I decided to post the original (resized) so that you can give me your suggestions.

The saying goes that the eyes are the window to the soul. A baby's
eyes are 75% of an adult's eyes size until 2 years of age. Do you
like this photo and tell me how it could have been done differently
or better, thanks.

Wow! Talk about being at the right place at the right time (and with the equipment available). I hope I get a chance to capture something of this kind someday.
