nice pose, but because of it and also because of the light pointing more towards "behind the subject" than in front, she looks like she's twisted in an unusual way. i think the same position but with her back to the camera would've been way better. i lik eteh light though. it's just enough of what you need for this kind of portraits.

beautiful shot! i am wondering if that look, straight into the camera's lens, taken from the same hight as the subject's, would've had a higher impact. So far, great subject, great composition!
  1. i like it a lot! if it wasn't for the green leaves, i would've said the guy and the boat were lost in the middle of nowhere and were trying to find the way back; not desperate of being lost, but peacefully and calm.

impressive photo! almost made me cry, and it didn't need any story attached so the viewer could figure out what was going on (well, maybe it's just my point of view as i've seen people doing this before)... i knew the story as soon as i looked at the photo.

next time try to get closer to the action scene, this meaning get down oon your knees, crawl if necesary.. the impact will be bigger. also try use some more angles.. you might end up amazed about what you can shot! (just as a quick example, imagine how it would've been focusing on the head with the hand on it, and the other hand rubbing the feet in the background...

keep up th egood work, i love what you are trying to suggest here...

Excellent shot! a smile that makes the whole picture, an amazing contrast w/ what's going on arround, marvelous in terms of composition (very well used diagonal lines), the perfect light. Bravo!

looks so cozy to me! i wish i could take the time to lay next to them for a good sleep... and this comming from me which i hate sleeping, must really mean that this is the feeling that the picture transmits. In my oppinion a great approach of two veru contrasting beings. One request though: next time try working more on the light; the quality drawback of this picture lies there... although it might just be because of my computer as i am using my laptop right now... yeah, this is it, more than sure. i need to take a better look at it tomorrow... i will get back...

    Little window

beautiful one! i was at first bothered by the reflection on the window, but now i think it makes the shot much more interesting and makes you focus even more on the subject -which in this case i consider it to be the flower pot and the flowers itself and then the little window; i think you show a great color approach and an interesting framing here. congrats!
