Thanks Larry, I would love to hear you play or may be jam with you. I've played everything from rhythm and blues to jazz which has my attention and thoughts these days.

Yes, high contrast with out wash out; Thanks Doug, I wanted to remove both of the tiny green leaves but I didn't trying to satisfy the purist I guest. I am a painter-photographer so I see photography (or Photoshop) as another paint brush or means to explore composition. I am still contemplating the "just so" framing for this lily. Your portfolio though is exquisite and makes me appreciate you comments even more; thanks again.

Your nudes defy eroticism and trample pornography; others who porcure the nude body like some self induced twisted voyage in masturbation could learn much from you.

The crop is the better part of this composition; I see how you superimposed the images but what bothers me is the contrast and scale of the focal point; it's neither distinct not large enough and just kind of sits in the middle of a very interesting background and behind a large blurred foreground image. The inner relations of the three planes need more work. Nice try. (Hope this helps)

Really dark, strange and diabolical; good capture.

Thanks Fernand, Thanks for the comment.

Excellenct Photoshop CS2 work Saleem; the fact that you have garnered the respect of a few purist on this site speaks well of your artistry; all of your work takes on epic and allegorical significance. Of course some pieces are a little overstated but your taste for representing the humble as well as the ostentatious is commendable.

Actually the clouds instantly catapulted me to Richard Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" if you know the piece. I just finished looking over your portfolio and was amazed at the prevailing aesthetic consciousness. Your work for me engenders a sense of quiet and contemplation, even your portraits. I am honored by your rating and interest. Thanks ever so kindly . . . Tim

The train was manipulated in Photoshop CS2; I can hardly wait to see
what features are packaged with Adobe Photoshop CS3. Comments

Working around the original presented a few problems I didn't forsee when I was motivated to create the transformation.

Who cares about the purists, the work is pure creativity; Very tasteful composing, blending and juxtaposition with characters. The script (upper left) bothers me though; you really don't need it; interfers with the established harmony between the background color and texture and the contrast and texture of the flowers.

I agree; thoughtful but a little too symmetrical. I like the secondary elememt of the composition, the little cloud in the sky although in the center as well. Of course one could make the argument that centralize composition forms a kind of happy face . . . Good work nonetheless.

Thanks Gustavo as always for your support and kind words.

Thank you very much Eleanor Rainey form Summerville/Charleston, SC; thank you indeed.

Thanks Larry, coming form someone with your portfolio, I really appreciate the comment; bytheway, I would love have that guitar (and the stand) on the beach; been playing a little while, how about you?

Happy Mothers Day to all Mothers . . .

I like the composition here as well as the imagery and lighting; good exposure, nice shot.

Yes, excellent exposure; this is much better; human being still a little too centered for me; although the individual is likely beyond the tree s/he looks too protected by the tree (under the tree so to speak)---Interesting approach to metaphor. See above suggestion . . . Tim

Thanks Jana, Didn't know your comment was here; yes I try to achieve surealism in various ways in all of my photographs. Thanks again.

Thanks Eduardo and Nick for your interests and comments; The train, which was moving at the time of the shot, is what I tried to capture with a slight motion blur but the shot came out crystal clear as you can see.

My sentiments exactly; perfect colour dynamics and detail . . .
