Beautiful!

Thank You Dimf; the gull seemed perfectly at ease and sat there on top of the statue's head for almost five minutes.
-
Thanks very kindly Will; sorry I just got back to your complement.
Take care,
Tim

Thanks Ellen; this, to say the least, is a very interesting tree---casting spactacular shadows and creating a symphony linear qualities.
-
Very dynamic composing Anders; you provide the viewer with two paths into the photograph; unique juxtaposition; I think the placement of eyelevel make the scene even more enviting.

All though the heavens appear a little too strong and thus tend to stand out more than the lower coastal scape, they may also be interpreted as breaking through and, thus, creating a powerful tention between the two planes of existence. I prefer a smoother more natural transition but I understand the
break. Intriguing work, although it doesn't appear transition was on your mind.

You can actually see a little more of the tree in other shots in this series but my guest considering its very broad growth is 60 to 70 years old. Thanks for your interest.

Yes, I agree; I also teach watercolour painting and this painting demonstrates
restraint while maintaining translucence and color balance---primary attributes of good watercolour painting. Way to go Ellen!

You know I have been very busy and haven't posted much lately, but I understand your query; you know the push-pull of the contrast between the shadows and the sunlight on facade. Thanks

My sentiments as well Marco; guess I'll always be a formalist, although I wish I had better glass when I took the shot. Thanks.

Well thanks Ransford; The only thing that bother's me is a little filter noise (but that may be due more to my insistence on absolute control) otherwise I agree with you, its unique, ironically, I have not be able to duplicate this blend. Thanks again.

Sorry I didn't get to this earlier Anil, this shot is a composite of seven different photographs in addition to a lot of photoshop layering, warping and filters. Thanks for you continued support and comments.
