Reflection is not photoshopped (other than being slightly darkened). It exists in original photograph.
Thanks for looking...comments are always welcome.

Couldn't be any better - 7/7

Very nice!!! I recently attempted this for the first time. Was quite difficult. Love the colors......completely make this photo stand out from the normal water droplets you normally see.
Well done - 6/6

I'm not the first to say it, and won't be the last.........7/7. Beautiful.

Beautiful shot. Great texture and detail. Exposure, contrast, and tones are perfect. I don't know if the moon is photoshopped in or not, I am curious if it was. If it was photoshopped in, it didn't need to be, as this would still be at least a 6 or probably even a 7 rated picture without the moon in my eyes. But if the moon truly is there...all the better!!!
7/7 from me...with, or without the moon. Very well done!!!

Thats nothing short of a 7/7 in my eyes. Awesome texture in the wood and sand, beautiful sky, perfect contrast, nailed the exposure.
Beautiful shot!!! Well done - 7/7

Another from attempt at catching water droplets. Comments and

Thanks :)

Very nice!!!

Very nice contrast and lines. I personally like the taller crop myself. Only gripe is that the picture is just so small. Would like it bigger. :)
Well done

Another from first attempt at catching droplets. I used a hotshoe
flash for this one instead of the Novatron powerpack strobes, hoping
to freeze the motion better with this batch.
Smaller image seems to show artifacting for some reason...viewing
larger image should clean that up.
Comments and critiques are appreciated.

Mohsen. Thanks for the comment. Color was made by mixing red food coloring with milk. I was trying to get more of a pure red, but turns out you need alot of red food coloring to turn milk a true red. Half a bottle only turned what I had pink. I ended up using strait red food coloring to get the red I desired in the Crimson & Creme photo in my gallery.
Thanks for looking!
Cheers

Thank you for the comments.
Ryan, this turned into a lesson about flash duration for me. The shutter speed was at 1/250, but I was always under the impression that strobes will freeze action...I was only part right. I was using a Novatron powerpack system, and apparently Novatrons have a very slow flash duration...which captured alot of the motion. I've learned to use a hotshoe flash (580EX)...they have much shorter flash durations and seem to do better freezing the motion. I used the 580EX on the "Last Drop" water droplet picture in my gallery (blue one).

First attempt at this kind of photography. Originally tried using
red food coloring to color milk red...but learned that it takes alot
of food coloring to make milk red. So I used strait red food
coloring to get the shot.
Comments and critiques are always appreciated.

Emily...I have a couple shots like that as well...where the baby just happened to look at the right light in the perfect direction to create modeling on him/her that I didn't originally intend, and ended up being the best out of that group.
We do seem to have the same taste in baby portraits...i enjoy following your portfolio as it grows.

Emily...this is one of my favorites from you. Love the dramatic lighting. I can't quite figure out what the baby is on though...a table?
I personally think that it needs a touch more room at the top. It seems a little tight towards the head to me. Regardless....a wonderful shot. I'd be proud to have this in my portfolio!!!
7/7

Roberto...this picture is better than average. I never did understand that about this forum though. I regularly see spectacular sports photography getting nothing better than 5's here, with maybe a 6 or 7 popping up...see 'em get lots of 3's and 4's. My best guess is that people who rate like that have no experience with sports photography, and do not understand the challenges or the art of it.
You have some very nice work in your portfolio...i hope that this type of photography someday gets the respect that it deserves on this forum.
