Thank you, Amitai :)

Hahaha, you remember the other shot, huh? Your question also reminds me of my first attempt as a volunteer at this museum. I had just received my degree in fine arts, so sat at the reception desk ready and eager to answer any and all questions about an exhibit, a particular artist or art history as such. But the only question I ever received was: where is the bathroom? Oh well. I do like your b&w version of this image, my pal! Thanks for stopping by. Barb :)

Maria, your name sounded familiar, so I did some checking, and now know where we met - at Jayme's site. Thanks for coming to mine and your nice comments. Barb :)

Thank you, Joseph. A compliment coming from one of the 'masters' here on PN is always appreciated! :)

...a forrest of roots. Thank you for looking :)

You created a good tension here. The grass is a blur, so all of our focus is on the tree, which looks strangely dead and alive at the same time. Well seen and done, Joe! :)

Ahhh, the Picasso rug comes to mind. Is this where the Fresno car guys bought it by any chance? Quite a store front. Leave it to you to find it, Dave! :)

A very creative and 'haunting' image. Well done, Gary. Now we have to plan for another war memorial ... if that war ever ends, that is. Thanks for your comment on one of my pics, I appreciated it. Barb :)

Super image and title. Eisenhower saw it coming and warned us about it. So no question mark needed,IMHO. Barb :)

Jayme....I wasn't going to comment anymore, but how can I resist a hug?! So glad you dropped your 'smack, smack' approach and here is a hug back to you - (o)
Emmanuel.....You are wrong about Obama'. He never said the Iraq war was 'necessary'. What he said was WITHDRAWEL was necessary. He is the only candidate who voted a-g-a-i-n-s-t the war and has never changed his position.

A striking image, Charles, and having toured your island a few years ago, I do know that the falcon has been quite important in Malta's history. Thanks for stopping by my site and I enjoyed looking at yours. Regards, Barb :)

Beautiful - like a painting :)

Another great find. How does this Jesus guy do it??? No speeches in almost 2,000 years and he becomes Lord of Orosi. Hmmm...I suspect he's got more lobbyists working for him than even McCain, that would do it. :)

David, thanks. Yes, it does have character, though not as much as most of YOUR images. Its age helps a lot. Without age, I fear, most of us would be pretty much void of character as well. One of the few things, which is good about aging, huh?! :)

David - there is not that much to get, unfortunately, as I did not put too much effort into this. 'Time' - just an ancient document, and some dates in history. The document and a few of the dates (not all) have some relevance to the gal in the image - my daughter, btw. That's all, amigo.
