    DRUG FAIR

B&W for me as well. The image is sort of sad and depressing, so cheerful colors don't go well with this one. Below is an all blue version, but your b&w works best in my opinion. Well seen.

This is wonderful - I love street shots as this one. It's quite funny how the girls are all absorbed doing their thing and the little boy is working so very hard to gain their attention - but in vain, it seems. Lovely capture! Regards, Barb :)

Wow - it took me a while to scroll to the bottom. You have a lot of admirers, it seems, and certainly well deserved. This is another wonderful image. Beautiful mood and compostion. Well done.
  1. Nice shot, GJ - beautiful shapes and blues. But, yes, some playing with the levels and/or dodging could really make this one pop out. I might also be tempted to eliminate the water in the foreground. Regards, Barb :)
  2. Thanks, Birte, and you are right - nothing changed. Well, almost nothing. No draft this time around, but a mercenary army to keep demonstrations like the above at a minimum. So the assholes are getting shrewder and the masses more ignorant and apathetic. :(

    SHORTY'S

Another unique find by you, David. I love how Shorty hung the Christmas lights with great care. Of course one big gust of wind would turn this fine establishment into a big pile of rubble, it seems. But then again, it probably would all fit into the huge trash can on the right.

    Barb :)
