GJ, thanks, and this sort of thing is relatively easy on photoshop. My grandson has never seen the Rays, but has been to a Mets game several times already. I have only seen two baseball games in my life - one was a Mets game and the second one was this one played by little 7-year olds. My ignorance was showing when I asked my grandson: 'where is your stick' and he replied 'Oma, it's called bat'. B :)

Pierre, photographing is addictive. I never leave the house without a camera, a very small one. When I can, I use my Nikon, however. To do what you do is amazing, though. You have brought photography to a new level. You are da man! B :)

I am always impressed by your creativity, because I have no idea how you make those images. As far as the title - conquerers, they come and they go, abd you showed this nicely! B :)

Ist das Muenchen? Die Reflektion des blauen Himmels gemischt mit rot und orange in der Strasse ist wirklich toll. Deutschland, nass und kalt, wie ich es in Erinnerung habe. Ein prima Foto! :)

Well, well, well. Pierre the Great is impressed. Who would've thought, hahaha! Thanks you so much, and thank you also for pushing this image to the 11 level. Warm regards, Barb :)

    Two old friends

I love to go to the side streets in old towns, they always have more character than the big boulevards. I see the lower windows are barred, so I assume crime is a problem there as well. Too bad they poured concrete over the old cobble stones, but I guess the motorcycle owner is pleased about this. And while I am doing all this guessing and assuming - the one on the left said she is for Obama, the one on the right is for Hillary - that's why they stopped speaking to each other. Barb :)
  1. Thanks, Pierre. It's my little grandson and his team won on this day. It was also my birthday, so he said they won just for me. The best birthday gift I ever got. Thanks for stopping by. B ;)

Dumas the Great, do not worry, my friend. I have no intentions of taking your crown. Also - read the above - mine was just a quick snap shot, very unlike your elaborate master pieces. So your position and status remain unchallenged. You may rest easy. Take care. Barb :)

Jim, thanks for the compliment, but I have to admit, there was no conceiving or cleverness involved. The image is totally unmanipulated. It was taken at the Met in NY. I went there for the current Courbet exhibit and saw this mirror/art-piece in another part of the museum and took two quick pics while walking by. The gal at the lower right is my daughter....Hope that did not deflate your opinion of my creativity too much. B ;)

Martin, thanks. Sand is easy to blend. I did remove trees and homes, which showed up in the back ground, and I also had to flip one of the images, because I wanted all of them in the same direction. That's why the glove is on the wrong hand on one, unfortunately. But - my grandson likes it in spite of it. He said 'cooool', so my efforts were worthwhile. B :)

David, yes - this is my grandson, who just turned 7. His team won big on that day, so he was very proud. And so was I, of course! Thanks for stopping by. B:)
