    This is sort of cool. My first reaction was 'ah, taken on the 5th and a metaphor for the grand old party', but you had actually taken it earlier. Still applies, though. Like the bold colors and the shapes. Nicely done. B

    Pedro, thank you so much for your nice comment on my portfolio. I really like the above photo of yours. It's bold, interesting and VERY mysterious. I looked at it for a long time trying to figure it out...an eye?...hands holding a camera?....both? How did you do this?

     

    As far as Mexico - I have been there several times. I love the country and the friendly mentality of your people and I hope to visit again real soon. Barb :)

    Yes, he is the one. A 50 pound miniture English bulldog. I blacked out, so do not know exactly what happened, but now have recurring dreams of the two of us tumbling around in a car as if in a cloth dryer. He is very protective of me now, always underfoot and licking my legs. He might be ugly, but he is a real sweetheart. Thanks for asking. Dave. B

    Thank you both, and Pierre, there are lots of vultures in Florida - it's not an unusual sight. This was taken at a state park, though, which is not too far from where I live. Supposedly there are about 600 Alligators in the lake you see in the back ground. But they too, are quite common. Most of the shallow lakes in my immediate area have a few. Harmless, unless you agravate them. B ;)
