Thanks Alec. Didn't do so well in the ratings but I really liked the shot. Thanks for stopping in.

great picture. I really like the isolated feel of it.

VERY cool shot howard. I love the symmetry of this shot as well. INteresting and appealing.

You might wnat to try cropping down the foreground. It's a little distracting. Outside of that, it's an ok picture.

Nice detail. Very sharp.

INteresting "Catch" but the background being as bright as it is makes it a bit difficult. The metering is just kinda tough here.

Wow Vince. Great capture man. I love the tones here. This is very other-worldly, ethereal feeling. Slick work.

Thank you for your kind words. :-)

After the wedding, at the reception, as they danced... I knew I had
to catch this shot. It is as it was shot. I am pleased with it.
Your thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated.

Jim, thank you so much for taking the time to comment. The one thing that drives me nutz about this site is those who feel a photo is "Below Average" NEVER comment. How can someone learn? UGGG! Anyway... venting.
I use a Photoshop pluggin called "Dream Suite" made by Auto FX. It's a really nice effect I think in that it doesn't change the sharpness of the photo as with Gausian blur. It simply dos some ghosting. The ghosted image is blurred I think. If you look at any particular spot on th ephoto you can tell it's in focus. It's really interesting to me.
Any way, I know ahead of time that MOST people here don't seem to enjoy th eeffect as it always garners an immediate 3/3 rating without explination. Oh well. I thank YOU for taking the tie to comment.

Thanks Jim. Yeah... I hate the dust. Normally I edit it out. I ended up just buying a can of compressed air, pulling the lens off, and spraying the inside out. This may be a terrible thing to try, I don't know. It worked for me though. No more dust.
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment.
