Took this shot a while back but hadn't uploaded it in a long time.
Thoughts and comments greatly appreciated.

Similar to a previous version I submitted in Blue. I'm curious how
this will do in just plain B/W.

This is part of a set for an artist promo pack. Please keep in mind
that that is the purpose. Many thanks for your thoughts and comments.

I orignally shot this picture in July of 05. I had uploaded it here
previously and since had taken it down. The original shot had a
layer of junk in the water that was to hot. It didn't look horrible
but for some reason I never tried taking it out. I've now edited it
out of the water and I think the water looks much better and
consequently makes the picture stronger.
Thoughts and comments greatly appreciated.

Greg, Excellent shot! Color is great. Lighting is really nice. If you get the chance to try it (this is totally just nit-picking) try and edit out a couple of the smallest hair strands that are not heading in the flow of the main stands. There's one that cuts just above her right against the flow of the main strands. It doesn't effect the picture much at all. It's really just a curiosity.
Any way... great shot man. Keep it up.

Lots of editing on this one. Her dress was Black but I thought the
greens matched her and the scene better. The bottom of the building
was in view (Edited out by creating more blocks.)
Thoughts and comments greatly appreciated.

Interesting comment. Many thanks for the thought. Most folks I had talked to commented on how the background complimented the picture. You've given me something to consider. Thank you so much for that thought.

You know... I did very little sharpening at all. I noticed when I uploaded this that the sharpening looked a little more than in the original. I may have to go back and try to repost and see if I get the same look.

Botticelli? Wow. Interesting. I could see a little "Birth of Venus" in this for sure. She has similar looking hair, face, and posing.
Cool observation. Thanks a lot for taking the time to comment. :-)

Thanks for taking the time to comment. She is a very attractive girl. Her eyes are what made me want to shoot her.

Part of a series of shots I did for this girl for her upcoming
auditions to various music programs.

Thank you for the comment. :-) Now that you mention it, perhaps I could work on getting the hand rails a little whiter which would enhance the gray separation.
Good idea. I will try it.
