Great smile here. Doesn't look posed. Were you going for a more desaturated look? Seems possibly with that sweater that a really saturated colorful one would work as well? Just a thought.

Wow!!! Great Shot. Like your profile pic as well. You two look like a great and happy couple. I will be submitting a shot in a similar though completely different vein as this one soon. Pop in if you get the chance.

Timo: Glad you agree. Funny thing is, if the background wasn't SO ugly, I'd probably never have tried it this way. Funny how things work out. :-) Thanks for your comments.

Cherlyn: I love kids and their emotions. It's been such a learning experience watching my son and daughter grow. They facinate me.

Mario: It was God's lighting. I wish I could reproduce this in the studio (that I don't have yet.) Workin on it. :-)

Erin: ERIN!!! Great to see you again. Haven't seen you pop in in for ever. Thanks for coming by.

Paul: mysterious brotha! Um... Blue eagle is in the coup. :-)

    Basso: Thank you.

  1. Ya know... I don't think I've EVER commented on a nude before. They just aren't my bag. HOWEVER, Do you remember the cars album Candy-O? THAT'S all I kept seeing when I saw this one. If, she were laying on top of a car, I'd be busting out in song! LOL!

    nice shot.

Hillary: Thank you for the comments on "summer boy." Some times you forget that you were there and that it may not make as much sense to others. I was really trying to capture the essense of that day in the title. Glad to hear that you liked it.

Emily: Did I buy yet? Nope, not yet. I'm trying to decide on upgrading to the 800's. I will definitely be purchasing them soon and I will make a note to let you know how it goes.

Hanna: Your comments almost brought tears to my eyes. It is a fantastic observation. "Recognition of the transition from infancy to independence." THAT was beautifully said. My little man is getting older. :-) Thank you for your kind words in sharing. (Oh.. I agree about the framing idea and will have to put that into play.)

Azi: Thanks. I spent a good deal of time (especially around the hair since I'm no photoshop expert) cleaning it up. Just for you... I will attach the original. :-)

Tiina: Kids are just so much fun to shoot (even when they don't cooperate) aren't they? You have a couple cuteys as well. Thanks for stoppin' in. :-)

Amar: Thank you. I tried white... no worky!

Wilson: Glad you like it. Your lighthouse stuff has just been rockin lately - got one of my first 7/7's in a while. (anyone that hasn't seen Wilson's lighthouse stuff... please click his name now.)

DOMINIQUE!!!!! Long time no see. Great to see you here again. I have to pop over and check out some of your new stuff.

Jayme: He just DOESN'T sit still at all... thus the... "hey, let's go outside and you can ride your tricycle while we snap a picture." To which his input was... get this stupid itchy pair of overalls off me and I'll ride in my birthday suit!

    Thanks again everyone!

    Alberto: many thanks.

Kim: ya know, I've found that framing and titles are very subjective. I like to frame all my images here on photo.net in a simple format so that a person has to do atleast a LITTLE editing to steal the photo (Not that cropping is hard.)and also because I like the effect of viewing it as a framed picture and that it provides a consitant look to your portfolio as a whole.

Never the less, I hope you are able to overlook the framing and title and just give your thoughts / ratings on the picture itself. Many thanks for your input though.

Second Submission from the outdoor shoot with him. I PS'd out the

background (was ugly) and converted to BW. Outside of that, no edits

    to the shot.

    ok... Everybody together now 1... 2... 3...

    AWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

  2. Shame you didn't get teh entire lower edge in the picture. Great old looking building and ominous sky. Some erspective corrective might lso benefit the shot. Overall, interesting to look at.

As far as I can tell, it's the monitor. I can't see any particular color to it. I dunno, maybe it's my monitor not properly showing the green that you are properly seeing? :-)

Thanks for taking the time to come back and explain.

Definitely Safe. WOW! What a great action shot. Perfect timing on this one Wil and I'm no sports fan. I've had no luck with my double image shots I was trying to do. I think I choose to highly detailed itmes to attempt (trees) for my first go. I can get in around all the leaves to make it work. Anywhooo....

Looks like you've been "catching" more games. LOL.

  3. Very creative shot. The "Err" on the scale makes it for me. In fact, if you could dodge and burn that a little so that it was brighter and easier to read, I think it would even help convey the message more. From your title, there is an issue or a "concern" about th epregnancy and teh "Err" on the scale reading seems to be the point of the shot.

Very creative idea. I like it a lot.

  4. This is a great shot. My only suggestion would be a lower angle to be more "on their level." The higher perspective gives you more of the "observer" feel. Just my thoughts. That and $5 could buy you a small cup of starbucks. lol.

Great shot. Good saturation and exposure.
