Dos Flamingos

Ken, the dof is just right to blur the bg yet keep the two flamingos in focus. The colors work quite well here as well. Nicely done :-)

Another outstanding image. I was looking at your animal folder the day before yesterday. Really really impressive.

Looks so graceful & sweet. Lovely square crop & frame.

Ken, I like all the curvy lines in this image which keeps viewers' eyes travelling indefinitely within. BTW, did you have to use stamp tool at the right (white feather on the right body)? The soft, overcast sky seems to be ideal for the white feather, too. ^_^

Wonderful, Ken. There is harmony, elegance in those curved necks. Excellent DOF, too. No idea whehter someone named it, but I'd prefer the photo without that piece of flamingo on the right corner.That's me, anyway:-)

I think the third flamingo part adds balance to the composition. Nice lighting and detail, Ken.

Ken, when I was at the National Zoo the other day, I kept thinking about your very talented images of animals. I hope that I have a couple of "keepers" in my several dozen images that I shot. I'll have to go back again one of these days...

 

This is great - the flamingos are perfect photographic subjects because of the curvers in their necks. You pulled in a tight crop to accentuate those lovely curves, one behind the other.
