dk. 0 Posted June 23, 2005 Hi Ken I think its a great picture with great DOF. So to me it is tops. Very well done. DK. Link to comment
jmontgomery 0 Posted June 24, 2005 Ken, the dof is just right to blur the bg yet keep the two flamingos in focus. The colors work quite well here as well. Nicely done :-) Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted June 24, 2005 Another outstanding image. I was looking at your animal folder the day before yesterday. Really really impressive. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted June 24, 2005 Looks so graceful & sweet. Lovely square crop & frame. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted June 24, 2005 Ken, I like all the curvy lines in this image which keeps viewers' eyes travelling indefinitely within. BTW, did you have to use stamp tool at the right (white feather on the right body)? The soft, overcast sky seems to be ideal for the white feather, too. ^_^ Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted June 24, 2005 Yes, the graceful curves are caught well here. Link to comment

paula grenside 0 Posted June 25, 2005 Wonderful, Ken. There is harmony, elegance in those curved necks. Excellent DOF, too. No idea whehter someone named it, but I'd prefer the photo without that piece of flamingo on the right corner. That's me, anyway:-) Link to comment
jvophotography 0 Posted June 25, 2005 More good stuff here Ken. Excellent DOF, colors, etc. I don't get into to many animal shots, so you've done well here. :-) Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted June 28, 2005 I think the third flamingo part adds balance to the composition. Nice lighting and detail, Ken. Link to comment
dennis jones 0 Posted July 2, 2005 Awesomes pinks and great detail, Ken...BTW, like your new bio prptrait...;-) Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted August 26, 2005 Ken, when I was at the National Zoo the other day, I kept thinking about your very talented images of animals. I hope that I have a couple of "keepers" in my several dozen images that I shot. I'll have to go back again one of these days... This is great - the flamingos are perfect photographic subjects because of the curvers in their necks. You pulled in a tight crop to accentuate those lovely curves, one behind the other.
