  1. Funny thing the serial number claimed for the F3 was imprinted on the F. That was my saving grace for a return.
  2. Warning rant>>>>I would have been using my new Ex condition F3 but KEH sent me a prismless, bargain condition Nikon F instead. How do you do that? Took me an hour to print labels, repack and make my way over to the Fed Ex office. Then I had to wait a week for a refund. Their response? basically "whoops" sorry. How about Mr. Ferron we are so sorry what can we do to correct the situation?
  3. Shot today with a monopod mounted Nikon N80 and DX 18-55 VR kit lens which surprisingly covers 35mm film from 24mm up. a very lightweight rig. Film is Ilford Pan F developed in Rodinal 1-100 for 13 minutes.
  4. 20 years ago. Central Maine, Nikon D1x.
  5. I hope Sanford is ok. I’ll get the topic started this week. 20 years ago.
  6. Seems several of us are finding Arista EDU 100/Foma 100 as a go to 100 speed film. And for good reason. I am getting fine grain, and good detail in a affordable film that is not high contrast. I have only developed one roll of the new Arista Pan 100 but the high contrast has me shying away from it.
  7. Several from my Konica iiia and it's Hexanon 50 1.8. Film was Kentmere Pan 400. (my test film) developed in HC110. The growing city I live in was once a small farm town with a tiny downtown, A downtown expansion project will claim this old mill I often photograph.
  8. 3 from a Nikon D70. Central Maine 2005.
  9. And the 29th. Konica ilia, Hexinon 50 1.8, Kentmere Pan 400 in HC110.
  10. For the 28th. Contax G2, 28mm, Velvia. Central Maine Aug. 2005.
  11. Contax G2, Velvia. Central Maine 2005.
  12. Alone and abandoned in the park. iPhone 14 Pro Max.
  13. Sigma 30 1.4 art on a Nikon D7000.
  14. And a few more wet photos from the Nikkormat FTn and 28mm AIS 2.8 lens. Film was Kentmere Pan 400 developed in HC110.
  15. These are from the Nikkormat FT3 and AI 50mm F2 lens. Film was Arista Pan 100 developed in Rodinal 1-25 for 6 minutes. The camera's meter was malfunctioning so this is not a good outing to judge the film.
  16. And the 23rd. Contax G2, 45mm, Velvia. Central Maine August 05.
  17. James I have a Nikkormat FTn and FT3. Both work fine but the meter was jumping around on the Ft3 the other day. I changed the battery hoping that was the cause.
  18. I’ve been doing some soul searching and needed an answer. Digital is a bottomless pit for me. I am never satisfied with what I have. Film gives me more pleasure by far so I decided to concentrate on 35mm film. One problem is a lot of my old cameras have issues but today I pulled the trigger on an excellent condition Nikon F3 from a reputable used dealer. I plan on making it my main camera using just one or two lenses. Pictures when I get it.
  19. 4 from 20 years ago in Central Maine. Nikon D1x.
